Jeannie Nethery
- Phone: (972) 949-2640
- Degree: SMU Cox School of Business. Corporate background, community volunteer - DSOL, Jr. League Sustainer, literacy tutor - Trinity River Mission.
There’s a reason Jeannie Nethery has enjoyed a career in real estate that ranks with the best in the business. She’s not only astute when it comes to financial matters — her background as an executive at a Fortune 100 company is proof that she’s both bright and savvy — she remains cognizant that clients buying and selling upscale properties have unique concerns. Moreover, she’s adamant that those needs can’t be met in a “business-as-usual,” manner.
“My clients have busy schedules and time constraints which make it essential that transactions be handled expeditiously. That’s the easy part. In complex negotiations, one has to exercise diplomacy and understand that confidentiality is of the utmost importance. There’s no room for ‘slippage.’ I understand that nuance and finesse are the keys to successfully closing deals for my clients. It’s what they expect and I wouldn’t dream of delivering anything less.”
Jeannie is pleased to serve clients who are buying and selling properties in Dallas’ most sought-after neighborhoods, including the Park Cities, Preston Hollow, Bluffview, Lakewood, Glen Lakes, Lake Forest, and Caruth Homeplace.
“My goal is finalizing a contract that is mutually profitable for both buyers and sellers. I want everyone to walk away from the table knowing that they’ve just completed a transaction that is a ‘win-win’ situation. It’s all about how your clients feel in the end. Anyone can make a good initial impression, but the final results? The final results are the real test.”
Ms. Nethery has been recognized as one of D Magazine’s 2007 Best Realtors. The award is based on client nomination of recent home buyers. Only one percent of Dallas realtors receive this honor. Jeannie’s additional credentials include: Certified Residential Specialist, Accredited Buyer Representative, Historic Homes Specialist from Preservation Dallas, and consistent top-level producer. “I’m very grateful for my success in Dallas and I try to give something back to the city. Business is important, but so is service. I enjoy working with various groups that improve the community. It’s one way I can say, ‘Thank you.’” Spoken like a true Texan. Not only is Jeannie a native of the state, she’s a long-time Dallas resident and a graduate of SMU. In a word, Nethery knows the real estate business, but, just as importantly, she also knows the territory.
On a personal note, Jeannie and her husband, David, reside in Glen Lakes with their pampered pets, Mackenzie and Savannah. Jeannie is a member of The Dallas Junior League Sustainers, serves on the board for Nexus Recovery Center and is a literacy tutor and mentor for two girls who are served by the Trinity River Mission. Previously, Jeannie served on the boards of The Dallas Symphony Orchestra League, Junior Group - Dallas Symphony Orchestra League, Trinity River Mission, Glen Lakes Homeowners Association and the Leadership Council for Lovers Lane United Methodist Church.
"Jeannie was the most effective real estate agent we have worked with. It was a pleasure." - client
