Linda McMahon

Linda McMahon has been among the firm’s top five producers for many of the last ten years.

That Linda McMahon has excelled in real estate is no surprise. Her early years pointed to a discriminating eye and giftedness in sales and service. She was frequently the #1 sales person when working in Dallas with the Neiman Marcus Catalogue. And while living in New York with her husband, Mike, she was the New York buyer for all of the May Company stores.

When she and her husband moved to Dallas and to the Park Cities to raise their two children, she became entrenched in volunteer work with the Junior League, their church, and Vacation Bible School – while at all times focusing first on family.

After her last child had left home for college, long-time family friend and Briggs Freeman CEO Robbie Briggs asked, “Would you consider entering the real estate market?” He clearly saw her potential. And, it seemed the right time. After getting her license, she hit the ground running, making a call to a former neighbor upon reading in the paper that EDS was to get a new CEO. The neighbor, who was with EDS, said “Great, can you meet him at the airport in two hours?” Her new client resulted in the largest sale in Highland Park to that date. This kind of excellence has characterized her work through the years, resulting in her being among the firm’s top five producers for the past eleven consecutive years.

In 2006, she was joined in her work by her husband, Mike McMahon, who was her childhood sweetheart in Longview, Texas. They both graduated from the University of Texas (she with a Bachelor of Science degree in design and marketing). Today, Mike brings valuable financial wisdom and executive experience in 1980s crisis management to the McMahon Team. Their effective work together resulted in their being named the firm’s Top Team Producer for 2008.

Linda is known for her detail work and for simply “staying right on it” until her clients are satisfied. In the process, she says she enjoys the relationships as much as the transactions. Named a senior vice president for the company in 2001, she has garnered a faithful cadre of loyal customers. Sixty percent of their clients are return customers. She is also known for finding properties that are not on the market, which make up twenty percent of their sales.

Linda welcomes clients at every price point – and in every situation. In one day, she sold the Preston Hollow home of a client with a special needs child, then was tasked with finding a larger home for them. Although it was a difficult market, she found them the perfect home, and they closed in two weeks. This is one reason Linda is recognized as one of D magazine’s Best Realtors in Dallas.

She specializes in the Park Cities, particularly in Volk Estates, and in Preston Hollow. She also has extensive experience in Greenway Parks, Devonshire, Bluffview, East and North Dallas.

Linda is a member of Premier Producers Network and the Olympians Network, both elite real estate groups, and she is a Preservation Dallas Historic Home Specialist.

She and her husband have served on the board of K-Life Ministries and in leadership positions at Park Cities Presbyterian Church. Linda is also a founder of an investment study group.
