Robert M. Briggs Broker & Owner
Robbie Briggs translated an architecture degree from Tulane University into the natural venue of real estate. His understanding of design, structure and spatial potential combined with integrity and business acumen has served him well in sales since 1980. He is the second generation to bear the Briggs name as the leading brokerage firm for quality residential property.
Robbie, his wife, Nancy, and their two youngest daughters moved their family to Beijing, China, which offers opportunities for growth for the entire Briggs family, both personally and professionally.
Robbie will be a new type of CEO – a chief executive overseas, if you will – whose dedication to Dallas will remain uninterrupted through his continued service on various educational and non-profit boards. Over the years he has been chairman of the Presbyterian Hospital Foundation, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, and The Cambridge School of Dallas Board. He also has served on the boards of the Hockaday School, the Park Cities YMCA, the Chemical Awareness Council and on the Tartan board for the Scottish Rite Hospital.
Through his five children, he has become widely known in the public and private communities serving as president for HPISD Dad’s Club and on fund-raising committees for this alma mater, St. Mark’s School of Texas. He is active at Park Cities Presbyterian Church, having taught several age groups in Sunday school, as well as being involved with the ministry to the men of the congregation.
Briggs Freeman Real Estate Brokerage has been listed for the past two years as one of the 100 fastest-growing companies in Dallas and was recognized by Real Trend as producing the highest volume of any single-office residential real estate firm in the United States. Currently, Briggs Freeman has more than 100 agents with a sales average exceeding $7 per agent.
